• The music of the mountains
  Even the most dedicated music lover is sure to be surprised by some of these traditional Swiss instruments! There's the long wooden Alphorn, the delicate arts of Talerschwingen (in which a coin is slowly spun around a porcelain bowl to produce a sound eerily reminiscent of distant cowbells) and 'Geisslechlöpfe' (or cracking the whip), the authentic Swiss accordion and 'Löffele', or playing the spoons, to try your hand at.


• Crossbow-shooting challenge
  In this William Tell-style game, participants must attempt to shoot the apple in the middle of the target, using the traditional Swiss crossbow still widely used in competitive events around the country.


• 'Trycheln' – or the sound of the cow bells!
  The rhythmic pealing of enormous cow bells could be said to be the sound of Switzerland – but as you'll discover, it's not quite as easy as it looks ...


• Traditional Cheese-Making
  Switzerland is famous worldwide for its rich mountain cheeses. Our experienced cheesemakers will help you make your very own slice of the Alps to take home!


• Chocolate tasting
  Can you pick out the exceptionally creamy Swiss chocolate from its rivals? We'll show you how to spot the difference in this fun guided tasting – tea time will never be the same again!


• Swiss folk dancing in traditional dress
  Put on our national dress, pick your partner for a simple, but lively folk dance – and feel your spirits soar!


• Yodelling
  It may look tricky in The Sound of Music – but yodeling is actually surprisingly easy to pick up, and great fun to learn. We'll teach you the basics of the ultimate party trick.


• Flagswinging
  This traditional celebratory sport is a real artform, and an absolute treat to watch. We're not sure what’s harder; thowing the flag in the air in the first place, or managing to catch it elegantly, but what is for sure is that learning is half the fun.


• Swiss cuisine
  We will be happy to provide you and your guests with an authentic Swiss cheese fondue, a raclette, a delicious barbeque or a traditional Swiss aperitif accompanied by Swiss cheese and cured meat canapés. Naturally, we can cater for any special requirements you or your guests may have.
